Free-agent guard Aaron Brooks is headed back to the Chicago Bulls, according to league sources.Sources told ESPN.com that Brooks and the Bulls on Tuesday morning agreed to terms on a one-year deal that the veteran guard will be able to sign as early as Thursday, when a leaguewide moratorium on roster business is lifted.

The looming return of Brooks, along with earlier free-agent deals struck last week to keep Jimmy Butler and Mike Dunleavy in the fold, means Chicago will essentially bring back the same team as last season under rookie coach Fred Hoiberg.

First-round pick Bobby Portis is the only newcomer certain to join the Bulls' roster, barring trades between now and training camp. Brooks averaged 11.6 points per game last season for Chicago as a productive reserve.
