Derrick Rose wasn't even aware the Chicago Bulls had clinched home-court advantage in the first round of the playoffs.

"I don't care who we play, where at, whenever," Rose said. "I'm just happy to be playing."

And the Bulls are thrilled to have him back. Chicago clinched at least the fourth-best record in the Eastern Conference with a 113-86 victory over the Brooklyn Nets on Monday night, a victory so complete that Rose couldn't even get back on the floor in the fourth quarter.

Rockets 100, Hornets 90

James Harden has given up on trying to decipher where the Houston Rockets will wind up seeded in the Western Conference playoffs. He says it's just too confusing.

"I don't even look at it," Harden said. "All of the teams are basically tied and it will come down to the final game -- and we still may not know until all of the games are over."

Harden scored 29 points, Josh Smith had a double-double and Houston defeated the Charlotte Hornets for the ninth straight time 100-90 on Monday night. He was only 7 of 20 from the field, but did plenty of damage from the free throw line where he was 14 of 16. It marked the 62nd time this season he's scored at least 20 points in a game.

Cavaliers 109, Pistons 97

LeBron James returned to work rested and without a trace of rust. Kyrie Irving may need more time off. James returned to the court after sitting out one game and recorded a triple-double as the Cleveland Cavaliers tuned up for the NBA playoffs with a 109-97 win over the Detroit Pistons on Monday night. James, who sat out Sunday's loss in Boston along with Irving and starters J.R. Smith and Kevin Love, had 21 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds in 32 minutes as the Cavs improved to 33-9 since Jan. 15.
