The Orlando Magic spoiled Derrick Rose's return from his latest knee injury.

Victor Oladipo had 23 points and scored on a layup with 1.5 seconds left to give the Magic a 105-103 victory over the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday night.

Rose started and played for the first time in more than a month since undergoing surgery on his right knee. But working on a minutes restriction, the point guard was 3-of-9 from the field and finished with nine points in 19 minutes.

"I felt all right," Rose said. "I think it was about right. It'll get better the more I play, but I'm getting better every week. It'll take some time, but I'll get there."

Raptors 92, Hornets 74

The Toronto Raptors were determined to beat the Charlotte Hornets for the first time in seven games Wednesday night. Taking control midway through the second quarter, the Raptors led by as many as 29 points and rolled to a 92-74 victory that likely quashed the Hornets' slim playoff hopes. DeMar DeRozan scored 18 points for Toronto, Lou Williams and Greivis Vasquez had 16 points, and Tyler Hansbrough added 12 points and 12 rebounds.

Wizards 119, 76ers 90

Washington Wizards coach Randy Wittman was concerned about his team's offense without All-Star guard John Wall. There was nothing to worry about. Bradley Beal scored 21 points and Wizards shot a franchise-record 65.3 percent from the field in their 119-90 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday night.

Pacers 102, Knicks 86

The Indiana Pacers looked like a team fighting for a playoff spot. The New York Knicks looked like the team with the league's worst record. The Pacers stayed within striking distance of the final Eastern Conference playoff spot when they defeated the Knicks 102-86 on Wednesday night. George Hill led the Pacers (35-43) with 20 points. Roy Hibbert had a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds.
