LOVC Wins Central Illinois All-Star Game

Three-point shooting powered the Little Okaw Valley Conference all-stars to a 104-90 win over the National Trail Conference all-stars in the Central Illinois All-Star Game at Cumberland High School Saturday night.

Tyler Schuring and Jeremy Plank of ALAH teamed up for 42 points on 14 threes. Schuring hit eight threes to lead with 24 points and was named the LOVC MVP, while Plank won the three-point shooting competition held as part of the All-Star Game festivities. He hit 10 threes in the first round and 11 to win the finals.

The LOVC outscored the NTC 54-35 in the second half to claim the victory.

St. Anthony's Andrew Gardewine scored 15 points to lead the NTC all-stars and was named their MVP.
