(Washington, DC) -- Steph Curry returned from a one-game absence to drop 32 points and dish out eight assists in the Warriors, 114-107, victory against the Wizards at the Verizon Center. Klay Thompson added 17 points, while Marreese Speights posted 16 off the bench.

Golden State has won five of six. Washington shot 53-percent from the field, but hurt itself with 26 turnovers. Paul Pierce had a team-high 25 points in the defeat. John Wall contributed 16 points and 11 assists for the Wizards, who are 2-and-9 in their last 11.


Cavaliers Big Second Half Does In Pistons

(Auburn Hills, MI) -- The Cavaliers outscored the Pistons by 18 in the second half on their way to a 102-93 win at The Palace of Auburn Hills. Kevin Love spearheaded the rally by knocking down four of his eight threes in the third quarter and finishing with 24 points and nine rebounds. LeBron James dished out 11 assists and passed Scottie Pippen for the most dimes by a forward in NBA history. James also had 19 points and seven rebounds for Cleveland, which has won five of six.  Reggie Jackson posted 22 points, nine helpers and eight boards in the loss. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope contributed 21 points and made five from deep as the Pistons' two-game winning streak came to an end.


Thunder Rock Pacers

(Oklahoma City, OK) -- Russell Westbrook put up his third triple-double of the season, helping the Thunder cruise to a 105-92 win over the Pacers at Chesapeake Energy Arena. Westbrook finished with 20 points, 11 rebounds and 10 Serge Ibaka compiled a 23-point, 10-rebound double-double. It was Oklahoma City's bench that helped the Thunder pull away, getting 26 points combined from Dion Waiters and Anthony Morrow. OKC has won seven in-a-row. C.J. Miles had a team-high 21 points in the defeat. Indiana was held to 43-percent shooting as its three-game winning streak came to a close.


Bulls' Rose To Undergo Surgery

(Chicago, IL) -- Bulls star Derrick Rose has suffered another injury setback. The Bulls announced Tuesday that Rose needs surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee. An MRI confirmed the injury and a timetable for his return will be determined after the procedure. The 26-year-old Rose suffered the same injury in the same knee in November 2013 and subsequently missed the rest of that season.

The Bulls continue their seven-game homestand against the Hornets tonight. Chicago improved to 2-0 on the residency with an 87-71 win over the Bucks on Monday. The Bulls have won six of their last seven overall. Tip-off is at 7:00.
