Altamont Picks Up Non-Conference Boys Basketball Win

PATOKA -- Altamont High School traveled to Patoka and captured a 63-48 non-conference boys basketball victory Saturday.

The Indians trailed 12-11 after the opening quarter. Mayhaus scored nine of his team's 11 points. Mayhaus then continued his scoring barrage with 11 while teammate Armstrong jumped in with 10 as the Indians ran off to a 32-21 halftime lead.

Altamont continued to outscore Patoka in the second half for the victory. Mayhaus and Armstrong were a one-two scoring punch for the Indians as they tallied 59 of the team's 63 points. Mayhaus finished with 32 while Armstrong scored 27.
