When you're playing a team that is having a tough season, you have to focus on your own game and make sure you take care of business, rather than focus on the other team's struggles.

The St. Anthony Bulldogs accomplished that Tuesday night, posting a 73-26 win over the Neoga Indians. The game was heard on 979XFM and www.979xfm.com.  The game was also videotaped so watch for a replay on the website later.

St. Anthony took an early lead, eventually leading 19-8 after one quarter and extending the advantage to 32-12 at halftime. After outscoring Neoga 15-10 in the third quarter to go up 47-22, the Bulldogs reserves outscored Neoga 26-4 in the final stanza to account for the final margin.

St. Anthony hit 52% of its shots, 30 of 58, but was sizzling in the first half, making 14 of 23 shots including two of four from three-point range. The Bulldogs made nine of 15 foul shots, turned the ball over just six times and pulled down 31 rebounds. St. Anthony hit four of 12 three-point tries.

Neoga made just eight of 33 shots for 24% and also turned the ball over 21 times. The Indians did make nine of 11 foul shots and grabbed 23 rebounds, going one for five on three-point attempts.

Andrew Gardewine got the Bulldogs off to a great start, scoring nine first quarter points and finishing with 19 points for the game on eight of 14 shooting. Nick Grunloh came off the bench to score 12 points and grab six rebounds. James Kabbes scored eight points, Derek Rios seven and Jeff Niebrugge six while grabbing a team-high eight rebounds.
