Grizzlies Sink Suns In 2OT

(Memphis, TN) -- It was a wild back-and-forth affair that the Grizzlies pulled out in the second overtime to pick up a 122-110 victory against the Suns at the FedExForum. The game went to the first extra session with the Suns erasing a nine-point deficit in the last 3:30 of the fourth quarter on a controversial layup by P.J. Tucker in the final moments. Eric Bledsoe clearly grabbed onto the net helping the ball go in for what should have been a goaltending call.  Courtney Lee sent the game to the second OT knocking down two free throws with 16 seconds left following an Isaiah Thomas turnover. Memphis outscored Phoenix 14-to-2 in the last five minutes. Zach Randolph led the way with 27 points and 17 rebounds as the Grizz beat the Suns for a sixth straight meeting.  Twenty points off the bench for Thomas wasn't enough to push the Suns to the victory.

Kings Stomp Cavaliers

(Sacramento, CA) -- The Cavaliers struggles without LeBron James continued as they were crushed by the Kings, 103-84, at Sleep Train Arena. DeMarcus Cousins led the way piling up 26 points, 13 rebounds, five assists, four steals and three blocks in the victory. Rudy Gay knocked down 9-of-14 shots for 23 points plus Darren Collison had 16 and six assists. Sacramento is 3-and-2 in its last five. Kevin Love posted 25 points and 10 rebounds for Cleveland, which is 1-7 with James recovering from his injuries. Kyrie Irving added 21 points in the defeat.

Blazers Dump Lakers

(Los Angeles, CA) -- Damian Lillard dropped 34 points and dished out seven assists leading the Trail Blazers to a 106-94 victory over the Lakers at the STAPLES Center. Portland outscored Los Angeles by nine in the fourth quarter on its way to a fourth straight win. Lillard scored 17 of his 34 in the final 12 minutes. Wesley Matthews added 16 points, while LaMarcus Aldridge chipped in 15 and nine rebounds. Kobe Bryant had the night off for rest. Westley Johnson had a team-high 17 points in the defeat. The Lakers have lost three of four.
