Bulls Cruise Past Heat, NBA Scores

(Miami, FL) -- Mike Dunleavy scored 22 points while going 4-of-5 from three-point range to lead the Bulls to a 93-75 win over the Heat at AmericanAirlines Arena. Jimmy Butler tallied 17 points and seven rebounds, and Taj Gibson added 15 points and nine boards. The victory gives Chicago its third straight. Luol Deng recorded a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds for Miami, which has dropped six of its last eight. Dwyane Wade also scored 17 in the loss.

Bulls rookie Doug McDermott will be out of action for four-to-six weeks after having arthroscopic knee surgery on Saturday. McDermott has averaged only 3.2 points and 1.6 rebounds in 17 games this season.


Warriors Down Pelicans In OT

(New Orleans, LA) -- Stephen Curry finished with 34 points, seven assists and seven rebounds to lead the Warriors to a 128-122 overtime victory over the Pelicans at Smoothie King Center. Klay Thompson scored 29 and Andre Iguodala chipped in 20 points off the bench to help Golden State extend its winning streak to 16. Tyreke Evans paced New Orleans with 34 points and eight rebounds while Anthony Davis sat out with a chest contusion. Jrue Holiday tallied 30 points and nine assists for the Pelicans, who had won three of four coming into this one.


Wizards Top Jazz

(Washington, DC) -- Bradley Beal totaled 22 points and seven rebounds to lead the Wizards to a 93-84 win over the Jazz at the Verizon Center. John Wall tallied 16 points and eight assists and Paul Pierce added 15 points for Washington, which has won four in-a-row and eight of nine. Alec Burks paced Utah with 19 points while Gordon Hayward scored 16 in a losing effort. Trey Burke chipped in 15 points as the Jazz fell for the 11th time in 12 games.


Kobe Passes Jordan As Lakers Down Wolves

(Minneapolis, MN) -- Lakers guard Kobe Bryant passed Michael Jordan for third on the NBA's all-time scoring list during Sunday's 100-94 win over the Timberwolves in Minnesota. Bryant entered the game needing nine points to pass Jordan's career mark of 32,292. He finished with night with 26 points on 7-of-20 shooting. Carlos Boozer added 22 points and 13 rebounds off the bench for Los Angeles, which has won three straight for the first time this season.  Shabazz Muhammad netted a game-high 28 off the bench for Minnesota in defeat.


Thunder Crush Suns

(Oklahoma City, OK) -- Russell Westbrook finished with 28 points, eight assists and eight rebounds as the Thunder cruised past the Suns 112-88 at Chesapeake Energy Arena. Kevin Durant added 23 points with eight boards and Serge Ibaka contributed 12 points. Oklahoma City is now 6-and-1 since Durant's return to the lineup. Gerald Green led the charge with 15 points for a Phoenix team that shot just over 34-percent from the field. Eric Bledsoe chipped in 12 points as the Suns lost their fifth straight.


Raptors Top Knicks In OT

(New York, NY) -- Kyle Lowry posted 21 points and 11 assists to carry the Raptors to a 95-90 overtime win against the Knicks at MSG. Terrence Ross scored 22 points to pace Toronto, which has won three of four. Louis Williams added 15 points off the bench in the win. Carmelo Anthony had 34 points and nine rebounds for New York, which failed to win is second straight. Tim Hardaway Junior tallied 18 points and six rebounds in defeat.


Spurs Clip Nuggets

(Denver, CO) -- Kawhi Leonard paced a balanced attack with 18 points and eight rebounds to help the Spurs beat the Nuggets 99-91 at the Pepsi Center.  He added five steals and six blocks in the win.  Manu Ginobili scored 15 points and Tim Duncan tallied 15 points and nine boards to help San Antonio to its fourth win in its last six games. Arron Afflalo led all players with 31 points on 12-of-20 shooting for Denver, which has dropped six of seven. Timofey Mozgov had a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds in defeat.
