Girls Frosh/Soph Basketball -- Dec. 3

Effingham St. Anthony played host to Effingham in freshman/sophomore girls basketball competition Wednesday evening and squeaked out a 27-26 victory.

Effingham held an 8-6 first period lead but St. Anthony came back to lead 14-10 at halftime. The Bulldogs pushed that to 23-17 going into the final quarter. Effingham's Ramos knocked down three trifectas and almost pulled out the win for the Hearts.

Clausius tallied 10 for the winners. Ramos finished with 12 for Effingham.
