Many memories were made Wednesday night as the Stewardson-Strasburg Comets defeated the Windsor Blue Devils 60-50 at the Comets Homecoming game.

That's because it's the final time the game will be played between the two longtime rivals since the programs will be consolidated into one team beginning next season. Students will have a hand in choosing a nickname for the new squad.

As for the game, Stew-Stras led at all the stops, although the contest was close throughout; 15-11 after one quarter, 26-22 at halftime, and 40-35 after three quarters.

Mark Jones led the Comets with 17 points, while Aaron Blythe posted a double-double with 12 points and 13 rebounds. Josh Overbeck was also in double figures with 10 points.

Tristan Warner led the Blue Devils with 23 points, while Nic Hutchinson added 10 points.

The two teams will play in Windsor's final Homecoming game as the Blue Devils in just a few days.
