Pacers Handle Hornets

(Charlotte, NC) -- Luis Scola posted 15 points and 12 rebounds to help the Pacers top the Hornets 88-79. C.J. Miles had 23 points for Indiana, which ends the preseason at 3-4. The Pacers start the regular season Wednesday against the 76ers.


Pistons Win

(Auburn Hills, MI) -- The Pistons closed out the preseason with a 109-103 win over the Philadelphia 76ers at The Palace last night. Kyle Singler was the high-scorer for Detroit with 19 points, Caron Butler added 18 and Josh Smith had 17 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Spencer Dinwiddie, who had ACL reconstruction surgery in January, scored eight points in his Pistons debut.  Detroit ends the exhibition season at 5-2 and opens the regular season next Wednesday in Denver.


Mavericks Fall To Pelicans

(Bossier City, LA) -- Gal Mekel led the Mavericks with 17 points but Dallas fell 88-85 against the Pelicans in preseason action  A majority of the starters sat out in the loss. Jae Crowder dropped 14 points in the loss with Charlie Villanueva chipping in 13 off the bench. The Mavericks battle the Magic tonight to wrap up preseason.     


Bulls End Preseason

(St. Louis, MO) -- The Bulls close out the preseason against the Timberwolves in St. Louis tonight. Chicago is 4-3 so far in the exhibition season. The T'wolves come in at 4-2. Chicago starts the regular season Wednesday at the Knicks.
