Chicago Bulls Top Nuggets, NBA Preseason Roundup

(Chicago, IL) -- Jimmy Butler posted 21 points in 22 minutes as the Bulls topped the Nuggets 110-90 in preseason action from United Center. Derrick Rose added 15 points with five rebounds and five assists as Chicago moved to 2-2. The Bulls host Atlanta on Thursday.

Magic Fall Short Against Hornets

(Charlotte, NC) -- Ben Gordon led the way with 16 points off the bench as the Magic fell to the Hornets 99-97 in their third preseason game from Time Warner Cable Arena. Tobias Harris totaled 14 points and nine boards and Elfrid Payton also chipped in 14 points as Orlando fell to 2-1 in exhibition play. The Magic continue their preseason campaign Wednesday against Flamengo of Brazil.

Knicks Downed By Raptors

(New York, NY) -- J.R. Smith had 10 points off the bench but the Knicks fell 81-76 to the Raptors in preseason action at Madison Square Garden  Carmelo Anthony added nine points in just 15 minutes. The Knicks play the 76ers tonight at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse.

Suns Lose To Rockets

(Houston, TX) -- The Suns lost to a shorthanded Rockets team, 95-92, in exhibition action at the Toyota Center. James Harden and Dwight Howard didn't play for Houston. Goran Dragic and Eric Bledsoe combined for 25 points in the defeat. Phoenix is back at it again Thursday night hosting the Spurs.    
 

Jazz Down Clippers

(Salt Lake City, UT) -- The Clippers' preseason is off to a rough start as they fell to the Jazz, 102-89, at EnergySolutions Arena. Blake Griffin went off for 31 points and five rebounds despite Los Angeles Losing its third straight game. LA tries to grab its first exhibition win Friday hosting the Jazz.
