OVC Releases Part of Men's Basketball TV Package

BRENTWOOD, Tenn – The Ohio Valley Conference has released part of its men’s basketball television package for the 2014-15 season with seven games to be televised on CBS Sports Network.  Included in that package of games is Eastern Illinois Jan. 22 home game with Murray State.   The game will tip off at 8 p.m. in Lantz Arena.

In addition to the nationally televised game on CBS Sports Network, the Panthers will have two of its games from the Emerald Coast Classic televised.   EIU’s game on Nov. 23 at Cincinnati will be carried on Fox Sports Ohio with a 4 p.m. (Central) tip off time.   The Panthers game at Creighton on Nov. 25 will be televised nationally on Fox Sports 1 with a 7 p.m. tip.

EIU opens the regular season on Friday, Nov. 14 at Missouri State.   The Panthers will host Saint Francis (Ill.) in an exhibition game on Nov. 10 at Lantz Arena.  The home opener for EIU is Nov. 17 against Eureka College.  Tickets for EIU home basketball games can be purchased by calling 217-581-2106.
