Teutopolis and Effingham St. Anthony split victories in seventh and eighth grade girls basketball action Thursday evening.

T-town was a 34-7 winner in the seventh-grade matchup. T-town stepped out to a 12-2 first quarter lead and never looked back. Olivia Niemerg tallied 14 points for the winners. Katherine Slaughter led St. Anthony with three.

In eighth-grade play, St. Anthony took a 12-4 first quarter lead and went on for a 28-21 victory. Meg Richards tallied 13 for the Bullpups. Julia Frey led T-town with 10.

At Effingham

Effingham Sacred Heart and Neoga were both winners Thursday evening.

Neoga captured the seventh-grade win 37-6. Neoga led 22-6 at halftime. Partlow tallied 12 for the winners. The Shamrocks were led by Feldhake with four.

In eighth-grade action, Sacred Heart was a 37-2 winner, taking a 23-2 halftime lead. Carie scored 17 and Webster 12. Neoga's two points came from Kingery.

At Strasburg

Stewardson-Strasburg and Brownstown/St. Elmo picked up a victory each.

BSE was a 19-9 winner in seventh-grade play. Obelrink led the winners with 12 points.

In eighth-grade action, Stew-Stras won 29-11. Davis tallied 15 for the winners.

At Robinson

Jasper County picked up two victories over Robinson. Jasper County won the seventh-grade game 39-2. Alison Horns had 11 points for the winners. Ten players competed and all of the players scored.

In the eighth-grade contest, Jasper County edged Robinson Nuttall 26-25. The score was tied at 19-19 going into the final period. Bergbower scored 17 points and pulled down 11 rebounds for the winners.
