Free-agent forward Pau Gasol  is joining the Bulls. The 13-year veteran has decided to leave Los Angeles after spending the last six-plus seasons with the Lakers. Yahoo! Sports reports the deal is for three season and worth around $22-million. Gasol played 60 games for the Lakers last season, averaging 17.4 points and 9.7 rebounds.

Doug McDermott had 31 points to lead the Bulls' Summer League squad in a 103-76 win over the Nuggets last night in Las Vegas. Tony Snell added 23 points for Chicago, which moved to 2-0 in the tournament. The Bulls take on the Timberwolves Tuesday.

Former Bulls forward Luol Deng is taking his talents to South Beach. The 29-year-old has agreed to a two-year, $20-million deal with the Miami Heat. Deng turned down a three-year, $30-million offer from the Bulls in January before being traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
