Spurs Bounce Back In Game Three

(Miami, FL) -- The Spurs used a scorching start and then held on to beat the Heat 111-92 in Game Three of the NBA Finals at AmericanAirlines Arena. San Antonio went off for 41 points in the first quarter and hit 19 of its first 21 shots on the way to a 21-point halftime lead. Kawhi Leonard posted a career-high 29 points with four rebounds to help the Spurs take a 2-1 series lead. Danny Green added 15 points, while Tim Duncan chipped in 14 in the victory. LeBron James and Dwyane Wade each scored 22 points, but combined for 12 turnovers. Miami allowed the Spurs to shoot slightly under 60-percent from the field. Game Four is Thursday night in South Beach.


Shelly Sterling To Ask Judge To Approve Clippers Sale

(Los Angeles, CA) -- The latest legal maneuvers regarding the sale of the Clippers will come today. That's when lawyers for Shelly Sterling will head to court and ask a judge to sign off on her takeover of the Sterling family trust, which will clear a path for the Clippers sale. Team owner Donald Sterling has once again decided not to go ahead with a plan to sell the team.


Knicks Introduce Fisher As Head Coach

(New York, NY) -- Derek Fisher is the new head coach of the New York Knicks. The team introduced Fisher at a press conference Tuesday. Yahoo Sports reports the deal is for five years and worth $25-million. Fisher replaces Mike Woodson, who was fired at the end of the regular season.
