Heat Hold Off Bobcats In Game Two

(Miami, FL) -- Dwyane Wade came away with a steal in the final five seconds with the Bobcats in position to tie with a three to close out the Heat's 101-97 win in Game Two of their opening round playoff series from AmericanAirlines Arena. LeBron James led the way for Miami going off for 32 points, eight assists, six rebounds and four steals.  Chris Bosh knocked down 8-of-11 shots on his way to 20 points. The Heat will try to take a 3-0 lead in Charlotte on Saturday. Al Jefferson fought through a foot injury to post 18 points and 13 rebounds, while Michael Kidd-Gilchrist paced Charlotte with 22 points and 10 boards. Kemba Walker contributed 16 points and eight assists in the loss. Miami outscoring the Bobcats by 10 points in the first quarter ended up being the difference.


Mavericks Romp Spurs In Game Two

(San Antonio, TX) -- The Mavericks bounced back from their fourth quarter collapse in Game One with a 113-92 stomping of the Spurs in Game Two at the AT&T Center. Dallas scored 33 points off 24 San Antonio turnovers to help even this Western Conference quarterfinals series at one. Monta Ellis had a team-high 21 points and Shawn Marion added 20. Devin Harris posted 18 with five assists and four rebounds off the bench. The series heads back to Dallas on Saturday.  Manu Ginobili hit 9-of-12 shots to pour in 27 points. Tim Duncan and Tony Parker were the only two San Antonio starters in double figures combining to tally 23 points.


Blazers Take Two In Houston

(Houston, TX) -- LaMarcus Aldridge did it again, posting 43 points and eight rebounds to lead the Trail Blazers to a 112-105 win over the Rockets at the Toyota Center in Game Two of their opening round series. Aldridge tallied 46 points and 18 boards in Game One as Portland went into Houston and left with a 2-0 series lead. Damian Lillard chipped in with 18 points, 11 assists and eight boards in the victory. Dwight Howard finished with 32 points and 14 rebounds, but he only had seven points after halftime. James Harden struggled again, scoring 18 points on 19 shots. Harden has shot 14-for-47 through two games in the series. Game Three is Friday night in Portland.


Bulls At Wizards

(Washington, DC) -- The Chicago Bulls look to get on the board against the Washington Wizards tomorrow night in DC. The Bulls are down two games to none in the best-of-seven Eastern Conference quarterfinals. Chicago lost 101-99 in overtime on Tuesday in Game Two. Game Four is also in Washington on Sunday.
