Huge Fourth Lifts Raptors Past Hawks

(Toronto, Ontario) -- The Raptors outscored the Hawks 36-15 in the fourth quarter en route to a 96-86 win at Air Canada Centre. Kyle Lowry scored 13 of his game-high 25 points in the fourth quarter, while DeMar DeRozan donated 21 points for the Raptors, who have won two-of-three. Jonas Valanciunas had 13 points and 13 rebounds in the victory. Paul Millsap and DeMarre Carroll netted 17 points apiece for Atlanta, which has lost two in-a-row.  Jeff Teague tallied 16 points in defeat.


Suns Storm Back To Beat T'wolves

(Minneapolis, MN) -- Markieff Morris scored 25 points on 10-of-13 shooting off the bench as the Suns erased a 22-point deficit and beat the Timberwolves 127-120 at the Target Center. Eric Bledsoe added 21 points and P.J. Tucker totaled 19 points and eight rebounds for Phoenix, which shot 57.5-percent as a team.  The Suns have won three in-a-row to move just a half-game out of the final playoff spot in the West. Goran Dragic chipped in with 18 points and Gerald Green had 14 in the victory. Kevin Love racked up 36 points, 14 boards and nine assists for the T'wolves, who have lost two in-a-row for the first time since the All-Star break. Kevin Martin dropped in 25 points and Ricky Rubio recorded 19 points and nine helpers in the setback.


Nuggets Sneak By Wizards

(Denver, CO) -- The Nuggets turned 24 Wizards turnovers into 30 points as they pulled out a 105-102 win at the Pepsi Center. Randy Foye knocked down five from behind the arc on the way to 17 points, while Kenneth Faried put 20 points and eight rebounds in the victory. Denver had three bench players in double figures helping them win for the third time in its last four games. Bradley Beal posted a team-high 21 points with seven boards and four assists. Marcin Gortat chipped in a double-double with 16 points, 10 rebounds and five helpers for Washington, which has lost three of four.


Kings Cruise By Bucks

(Sacramento, CA) -- DeMarcus Cousins registered 32 points and 12 rebounds as the Kings crushed the Bucks 124-107 in Sacramento. Isaiah Thomas tallied 30 points and eight assists for Sacramento, which has won two-of-three. Rudy Gay chipped in with 24 points and eight boards in the win. O.J. Mayo scored a team-high 21 points for Milwaukee, which has lost seven in-a-row. Jeff Adrien and Ramon Sessions each had 13 points for the Bucks.


Cavaliers Dump Knicks

(New York, NY) -- The Knicks chances at making a miracle run for the playoffs took a hit as they faltered to the Cavaliers, 106-100, at Madison Square Garden. Jarrett Jack toasted New York for 31 points on 13-of-19 shooting with 10 assists. Dion Waiters chipped in 22 points for Cleveland, which had lost its previous four games. The Knicks had the chance to pull within two games of the Hawks, but instead dropped to three back and more importantly, four in the loss column. Despite scoring a game-high 32 points, Carmelo Anthony struggled in the fourth quarter missing all five of his shots from the field, while New York was outscored by 13.


Nets Cut Down Mavericks

(Dallas, TX) -- Joe Johnson scored 22 points with five rebounds to help the Nets beat the Mavericks, 107-104, in overtime at the American Airlines Center.  Marcus Thornton connected on four from behind the arc on his way to 20 points off the bench in the win. Paul Pierce and Deron Williams each tallied 15 points for Brooklyn, which has won four in-a-row and seven of eight. Monta Ellis dropped 32 points, but missed a long three in the closing moments of regulation that would have won the game for Dallas. Dirk Nowitzki shot 2-of-12 from the field and finished with 10 points. The Mavs are a half-game ahead of the Suns for the final playoff spot in the West at 42-and-29.


Hill, Young Power Lakers Past Magic

(Los Angeles, CA) -- Jordan Hill had 28 points and 13 rebounds as the Lakers rolled to a 103-94 win over the Magic at STAPLES Center. Nick Young added 26 points for Los Angeles, which ended a four-game slide. Jodie Meeks poured in 13 points with six steals in the win. Victor Oladipo led Orlando with 21 points and 10 assists while Arron Afflalo netted 18 points in defeat. The Magic have lost nine in-a-row.


Bulls Face Pacers Tonight

(Chicago, IL) -- The Bulls play host to the Pacers tonight at United Center. Chicago downed the 76ers on Saturday to improve to 39-31 on the season. The Bulls are currently fourth in the Eastern Conference, while Indiana is first. Tip is scheduled for 7:00.
