Kaufman To Compete at State

Effingham High School's Caitlin Kaufman will be competing in the Country Financial Three-Point Showdown at Illinois State University's Redbird Arena tonight at the Class 3A State Girls Basketball Tournament.

Kaufman, a senior, is in Group 1 and is the No. 1 shooter in the groiup. Also in the group are Olivia Elger (Jr.), Peoria (Richwoods), Tiffany Bertoni (Sr.), Springfield (Sacred-Heart-Griffin), Hanna Mitchell (Jr.), Kankakee (McNamara), Kelsey Walsberg (Sr.), Pontiac, Megan Pfister (Jr.), Evergreen Park, Paulina Castro (So.), Lombard (Montini) and Amara Graham (So.), Chicago (Brooks).
