Thompson Lifts Warriors Past Pacers In Indy

(Indianapolis, IN) -- Klay Thompson nailed a game-winning jumper with six-tenths of a second left to lift the Warriors past the Pacers 98-96 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. Thompson tallied 16 of his team-best 25 points in the fourth quarter, while Stephen Curry chipped in with 19 points, eight rebounds and six assists for Golden State, which has alternated wins and losses over its last five games. David Lee added 11 points and five boards in the victory. Paul George racked up 26 points and 12 boards for Indiana, but missed a long three-pointer at the buzzer. David West scored a game-high 27 points for the Pacers, who saw their five-game winning streak come to an end.


Spurs Crush Cavaliers

(Cleveland, OH) -- After a slow start the Spurs used a 37-point second quarter and never looked back as they dominated the Cavaliers, 122-101, at Quicken Loans Arena. Danny Green led the way with 24 points, while Kawhi Leonard posted 18. Four bench players for San Antonio hit double figures including Boris Diaw and Patty Mills each with 16. The Spurs have won four in-a-row. Kyrie Irving posted 24 points with six assists and four rebounds in the loss. Dion Waiters played after missing the last seven games with a knee injury. Waiters dropped 24 points in 23 minutes. Cleveland has lost five of seven.


Thunder Trounce 76ers

(Oklahoma City, OK) -- Kevin Durant posted his 10th 40-point game of the season as the Thunder trounced the 76ers 125-92 in OKC. Durant recorded 42 points and nine rebounds in three quarters of action. Russell Westbrook posted a triple-double with 13 points, 14 assists and 10 rebounds in just 20 minutes of action. Serge Ibaka and Reggie Jackson added 14 points apiece for the Thunder, who have won three in-a-row. James Anderson scored 20 points to pace Philadelphia, which has lost 15 straight. Byron Mullens had 15 points off the bench and Michael Carter-Williams chipped in with 14 in defeat.


Rockets Hold Off Heat

(Houston, TX) -- All five Rockets starters were in double figures as they pulled out a 106-103 win against the Heat at the Toyota Center. LeBron James missed a three pointer in the closing moments that would have sent the game to overtime.  Dwight Howard posted 22 points and 16 rebounds, while James Harden added 21 points and 11 assists in the victory. Houston has won four of five. James followed up his 61-point effort with 22 points and six assists. Dwyane Wade and Michael Beasley paced Miami with 24 points. The Heat saw an eight-game winning streak come to an end.


Clippers Use Huge Third Quarter To Beat Suns

(Phoenix, AZ) -- Matt Barnes scored 18 of his season-high 28 points during a huge third quarter as the Clippers beat the Suns 104-96 at US Airways Center.  Trailing 11 at the half, LA outscored Phoenix 37-18 in the third quarter en route to its fifth straight win.  Blake Griffin dropped in 22 points and Darren Collison chipped in with 18 for the Clippers, who have won eight of their last 10 overall. DeAndre Jordan added 10 points and 17 rebounds in the victory.  P.J. Tucker totaled 18 points and 10 boards for the Suns, who had won their previous two. Gerald Green donated 17 points, eight boards, five assists and three steals in the setback.


Pelicans Storm Past Lakers

(Los Angeles, CA) -- Anthony Davis and Eric Gordon each scored 28 points to pace the Pelicans past the Lakers, 132-125, at STAPLES Center. Davis added 15 boards, while Tyreke Evans also had a double-double with 24 points, 11 assists and seven boards. New Orleans shot just under 60-percent from the field to snap an eight-game losing streak  A 74-point second half wasn't enough to bring Los Angeles all the way back. Pau Gasol posted 29 points, 12 rebounds and four assists in the loss. The Lakers two-game winning streak came to an end.


Bulls Face Pistons Tonight

(Auburn Hills, MI) -- The Bulls look to bounce back tonight facing the Detroit Pistons on the road. Chicago saw a four-game win streak end on Monday night in Brooklyn and is now 33-27 on the season. Tip is scheduled for 6:30 from The Palace of Auburn Hills.
