LaRussa, Maddux To Enter Hall Without Cap Logo

(Cooperstown, NY) -- Manager Tony LaRussa will be inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame this summer without a logo on his cap. The Hall of Fame announced the cap selections for the six members of the 2014 class on Thursday, with both pitcher Greg Maddux and La Russa feeling it was best not to choose one city over another.

La Russa managed the Cardinals, Oakland A's and Chicago White Sox, winning one World Series title with the A's and two with the Cardinals.

Maddux pitched 23 seasons in the majors, including 11 with the Atlanta Braves and 10 with the Chicago Cubs.
