(UPDATE) -- The Samsung Lions came from behind to beat the Doosan Bears 6-2 in Game 6 of the Korean Series Thursday. The win forces a Game 7 Friday at Daegu Stadium. Altamont's Derek Hankins did not make an appearance in this game.

Altamont's Derek Hankins is still playing baseball.

Hankins is pitching in his first Korea Baseball Organization postseason. He competes for the Doosan Bears and has taken over the role of relief pitcher. The 30-year-old signed with the Bears back in July after competing in the states 10 years in the minor leagues.

Although things didn't go well during the season for him as a starting pitcher, he has turned things around in post-season play as a relief pitcher. He's been one of the key figures in the Bears run for the title as they are now one win away from beating two-time defending champion Samsung for the Korean Series championship.

Hankins has pitched relief and has yet to allow an earned run in post-season play. The Doosan fans have nicknamed him Mr. Zero. Doosan, which placed fourth during the regular season, won game four by a 2-1 count, moving within one game of the title. They can clinch today. Hankins came on in relief and pitched 2 2/3 shutout innings in relief of Lee Jae-woo. He struck out four and extended his postseason scoreless streak to 10 1/3 innings.
