North Clay Drops Into Third Place Game at SIJHSAA State Tourney

North Clay (Louisville) saw its bid for a state championship come to an end with a 12-1 loss to Nashville in semifinal round play of the SIJHSAA Class M State Baseball Tournament Tuesday.

Nashville had 12 hits in the game while North Clay committed five errors. North Clay had four hits in the game led by Quincy Aldrich with a double, home run and an RBI.

North Clay drops into the third place game against Red Bud, a 12-4 loser to Goreville, at 1 p.m. Thursday. Goreville will take on Nashville for the champoinship at 3 p.m.
