Teutopolis High School hit the road to Mulberry Grove and trounced the homestanders 20-0 in five innings via the 10-run rule in baseball action Thursday.

The Shoes opened up with a six-run first inning then tallied eight runs in the second. They were quiet in the third and fourth and finished the game in the fifth with six more runs. J. Kenter and A. Borries combined to pitch a no-hitter. Kenter went three innings allowing no walks and striking out five while Borries went the final two innings, also allowing no walks and striking out five.

T-town banged out 17 hits in the game led by A. Hartke with two singles, a triple and two RBI and J. Thoele with a single, home run and three RBI.

At Louisville

North Clay (Louisville) took the lead in the first inning and never relinquished it for a 7-4 win over Dieterich.

The Cardinals had 11 hits in the game while Dieterich committed three errors. Britton had a solo home run for the winners while McNelly, Bailey and Byers had two singles each. Byers knocked in three runs while Bailey had one.

At Kinmundy

South Central stepped out to an 8-0 first inning lead and never looked back in an 11-1 win over Beecher City/Cowden-Herrick in six innings.

Tyler Ross pitched a three-hitter with three walks and six strikeouts. Kyle Bray was the big man at the plate with two doubles and a solo home run. He finished with three RBI. Gavin Ratermann added three singles and an RBI and Tyler Ross a single, double and two RBI.

The Cougars are now 3-1 in the National Trail Conference and overall.
