Shelby County Nabs Win Over Piatt County

Shelby County Posts 289-611-725 captured a 6-2 win over Piatt County in legion baseball action Thursday.

Piatt County held a 2-0 lead until the fourth when Shelby County tallied a run and took a 3-2 lead in the fifth. The squad never relinquished the lead again.

Shelby County had four extra base hits in the contest. Luke Hatfield had a single, home run and an RBI while Tyler Hendryx had a double, triple and an RBI while Gunner Thies had a single and double.

Aaron White picked up the pitching win going three innings allowing one hit, no runs and striking out one.
