Babe Ruth Prep League Results -- July 11

JCR Carpentry picked up a victory over Niemerg Construction 12-4 in Babe Ruth Prep League action Thursday at Evergreen Hollow Park.

JCR took a 4-1 second inning lead and never looked back. JCR had four hits led by Ryan Radloff with two singles and two RBI. Callaway Campton pitched a one-hitter. The lone hit for Niemerg Construction came off the bat of Tyson Magee with a double and an RBI.

In the second game, Effingham Asphalt and Taylor Law Offices played to a 9-9 tie due to the time limit.

Asphalt held a 5-2 lead after the first and led 7-5 after three. Taylor Law pulled within 9-8 in the fourth then tied the score with a run in the fifth.

Adam Levitt and Jack Nuxoll had a double and two RBI each for Effingham Asphalt. Alec Morrissey added a triple. Taylor Law was led by Bryce Lohman with two singles and an RBI.
