Babe Ruth Prep League Roundup -- July 9

The Teutopolis Mustangs and Taylor Law Offices were victors in Babe Ruth Prep League action Tuesday at Evergreen Hollow Park.

The Mustangs stepped out to a 3-0 first inning lead but Tingley Insurance came back to tie the score in the third inning. The Mustangs then had a four-run fifth and went on for an 8-4 victory.

The Mustangs had only two hits, singles by Zach Lee and Drew Thoele. Drew Heuerman had two RBI. Ethan Rozene had the lone hit for Tingley with a single and an RBI.

In the second contest, Taylor Law Offices defeated Niemerg Construction 11-6. Both teams had six hits in the contest but Niemerg Construction aided Taylor Law by committing four errors.

Bryce Lohman picked up the pitching win. Brett Koester had two singles, a triple and drove in a run.

Leading Niemerg were Ryan Sandifer with two doubles and Clayton Helmink with a triple and an RBI.
