TOMORROW'S STARS KHOURY LEAGUE

South Central FS picked up a 9-6 victory over Brown's Drug Store at Community Park Thursday evening with a seven-run second inning. Brown's had a five-run fourth but couldn't come back after South Central FS' second inning.

Kennan Walsh picked up the pitching win on a two-hitter. Walsh also aided his own cause with a two-run blast and finished with three RBI. Gabe Kihne also hit a home run in the seven-run second with none on. Sam Bell had a triple and an RBI while Max Hardiek, Edgar Castillo and Brody Niebrugge had a double each. Niebrugge had two RBI and Castillo one.

Logan Antrim led Brown's with a triple and drove in three runs.

In the second contest, Taylor Law took a 2-0 first inning lead and went on to beat Baseball Card Connection 9-2 behind seven hits.

Dylan Overbeck pitched a two-hitter. Matthew Loy had two singles, a double and three RBI for the winners while Christian Raddatz had a single, double and three RBI and Overbeck a double and an RBI.

Brody Conkling led Baseball Card Connection with a triple and two RBI.

CAL RIPKEN LEAGUE

Tanner Gordon was hot behind the plate and guided Kingery Printing to a 13-4 victory over DEKALB in action at Community Park Thursday.

Gordon had a single, two doubles, a triple and drove in four runs. Aaron Webb chipped in with three singles and two RBI. Gavin Braunecker and Waylan Kollman had two singles each. Braunecker drove in two runs while Kollman had one.

Carson Utz had the lone extra base hit for DEKALB with a double.

In the second contest, Northside Ford stepped out to a 6-1 first inning lead but Schumacher Orthodontics came back in the final three innings to outdistance Northside for an 11-7 victory.

Schumacher had nine hits in the game. Braiden Will had two doubles and two RBI while Ben Donsbach added a double and an RBI. Blake Niebrugge and Kendall Tabbert banged out a single and a double each. Niebrugge drove in three runs.

Davis Tingley led Northside with a single, double and two RBI while Tyler Runde added a double.

BABE RUTH PREP LEAGUE

Trophies Unlimited and Mid-Illinois Concrete claimed victories at Community Park in Prep League action Thursday evening.

Trophies Unlimited stepped out to a 1-0 first inning lead and went on to down K. Wohltman Construction 12-2. Trophies Unlimited had 11 hits in the contest led by Jacob Roepke with two singles, a double and two RBI and Blake Field with a single, double and an RBI.

Josh Overbeck led K. Wohltman with a single, double and an RBI while Reilly Mathenia added a double.

In the second contest, Mid-Illinois Concrete scored all the runs it needed in a five-run first inning to edge Tri-Power Towing 5-4.

Kyle Smith picked up the three-hit pitching win while Brent Beals got the save. Beals had a double for the winners.

Austin Weber led Tri-Power with a double and two RBI.
