TOMORROW'S STARS KHOURY LEAGUE

Sherwin Williams edged out to a 1-0 first inning lead but Russ Braunecker tallied two in the fourth to lead 2-1 until the top of the sixth. Sherwin Williams then exploded for seven runs to take an 8-2 victory Friday.

Sherwin Williams had seven hits in the contest led by Jackson Lee with two triples and an RBI. Gavin Wernsing led Braunecker with a double and two RBI.

In the second game, Heritage Builders edged out to a 2-1 first inning lead but Brown's Drug Store came back to take an 8-7 victory.

Ben Thompson picked up the pitching win and also had two doubles and drove in two runs. Nate Thompson led Heritage Builders with a single and double.

CAL RIPKEN LEAGUE

Dairy Queen banged out 11 hits and scored 11 runs in an 11-4 win over Arab Pest Control Friday.

Dairy Queen stepped out to a 4-0 first inning lead and never looked back, scoring in every inning but one. Luke Ludwig pitched a four-hitter.

Hunter Stephens had a single, two doubles and an RBI while Jake Blanchette had three singles and an RBI.

In the second contest, Arrow Pest Control edged Schumacher Orthodontics 5-4. Schumacher held a 2-1 lead through three innings before Arrow tallied four runs in the top of the fourth then held off a challenge by Schumacher. Arrow had only two hits in the game, singles by Cade Walsh and Blake Niebrugge. Evan Evans had two RBI.

Conner Rardon led Schumacher with a single and triple.

Tri-Power Towing trailed Midland States Bank 5-0 after five innings then tallied four runs in the sixth and four more in the seventh for an 8-6 victory.

Tri-Power had eight hits in the contest led by Austin Weber, Matt Weber and Craig McDaniel had two singles each. McDaniel added an RBI.

In the second contest, Sehy & Jones broke a 1-1 tie with a two-run fifth and went on for a 3-1 victory over Washington Savings Bank. Both teams had three hits in the contest.

Eli Buchrman had a double for Washington Savings Bank. Sehy & Jones had all singles by Caleb Wendt, Will Clausius and Adam Bunnell.
