Chip Caray will be leaving the Atlanta Braves as their television play-by-play broadcaster and heading to the St. Louis Cardinals.

Caray will join the Bally Sports Midwest broadcasting team as the lead play-by-play announcer.

Caray is the grandson of former Cardinals broadcaster Harray Caray and will replace Dan McLaughlin.

In other baseball news, Scott Rolen, a major league baseball player from 1996 to 2012, will be entering the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Rolen, who played third base, was a seven-time All-Star and eight-time Gold Glove winner. He played 17 seasons with the Phillies, Cardinals, Blue Jays and Reds.

He was picked on 297 of 389 ballots cast by the Baseball Writers' Association of America for 76.3 percent.

This was the sixth try for Rolen.
