Major League Baseball on Monday suspended 12 players and coaches on the Los Angeles Angels and the Seattle Mariners over a brawl between them a day earlier.

Angels interim manager Phil Nevin had the longest, 10 games, while Mariners outfielder Jesse Winker was suspended for seven.

Nevin got the long suspension after Angels starter Andrew Wantz -- who was suspended for three games -- intentionally threw at Winker after both teams had been warned after Wantz threw behind another player.
