Altamont Community High School senior Bradin Baucum has signed a National Letter of Intent to play baseball at Lake Land College.

Baucum said he was looking for an opportunity at a two-year school. He said COVID-19 has backed things up at four-year schools and he might not have had the opportunity to play out of the gate like he will at Lake Land. He said Lake Land Coach Julio Godinez told Baucum he would be a two-position player for the Lakers, pitching and playing shortstop.

Baucum, who plans to major in Marketing, has goals of attending a four-year school and playing baseball, which he says is his favorite sport.
