Here's a look at Friday baseball results from the area:

ST. ANTHONY 9, BROWNSTOWN/ST. ELMO 3

The Bulldogs scored three runs in the first, but the Bombers scored twice in the third. St. Anthony scored in the third to make it 4-2, then scored three more runs in the fourth to make it 7-2. The Bombers plated a run in the sixth to pull within 7-3, but St. Anthony scored twice in the bottom of the inning to post the six-run win.

Seth Hotze got the win for St. Anthony, allowing one earned run in 5-1/3 innings of work, giving up six hits and walking three while striking out eight. Kennan Walsh provided a strong relief effort in the final 1-2/3 innings with four strikeouts against a hit and a walk.

Jace McWhorter took the loss for the Bombers, allowing five earned runs on six hits and a walk in 3-2/3 innings with two strikeouts. 

Eli Moore had a three-hit day for St. Anthony, driving in a run and scoring three times. Logan Antrim and Colton Fearday each had two hits.

McWhorter, Dalton Myers and Wyatt Chandler had two hits apiece for BSE.

ALTAMONT 7, NORTH CLAY 2

Altamont scored late to post a win over North Clay.

North Clay scored in the first, but Altamont took a 2-1 lead in the third, stretching the lead to 3-1 in the fifth. A four-run seventh inning sealed the deal for the Indians, although the Cardinals did score in the bottom of the frame.

Mason Robinson got the win for Altamont, allowing the two runs in six innings of work. Robinson allowed six hits and five walks, but fanned seven. Jared Hammer pitched the seventh, allowing a hit and a walk.

Carson Burkett took the loss for North Clay, allowing six runs on 13 hits while striking out four. Bullard pitched the seventh, allowing a run on a hit and a walk.

Braden Baucum had a four-for-four day for Altamont, driving in three runs. Kaden Eirhart, Brayden Stuemke and Wyatt Phillips each had two hits and Robinson singled home two runs.

SOUTH CENTRAL 14, COWDEN-HERRICK/BEECHER CITY 2

The Cougars scored 14 runs on seven hits, benefitting from 11 Bobcat walks. 

Joliff went the distance for the five-running win, no-hitting the Bobcats while walking five and fanning four.

Dunn and Watwood each had two hits for South Central. Johannes homered and drove in three runs. Magnus and Dunn each drove in two runs.

Quincy Schlanser took the loss.
