Effingham St. Anthony blanked Dieterich 10-0 in National Trail Conference high school baseball Tuesday.

Logan Antrim went all five innings on the mound, throwing a one-hitter with four walks and nine strikeouts.

The Bulldogs edged out to a 1-0 lead in the second inning then had three run innings in the third, fourth and fifth to end the game via the 10-run rule.

Dieterich's lone hit was a single by Seth Bushur.

The Bulldogs had 11 hits led by Brody Niebrugge with a home run and two RBI, Colton Fearday with three singles and an RBI and Kennan Walsh with two doubles and an RBI. St. Anthony improved to 6-3 on the season.

At Altamont

Altamont put the game on ice early with a 10-run first and downed Neoga, 12-0 in National Trail Conference play Tuesday.

Bradin Baucum led the hitting attack for the winners with two singles, a double and drove in three runs. Zeke Rippetoe added a double and an RBI. Kaden Eirhart had a single and two RBI.

Neoga had one hit, a single by Adam Fearday.

Eirhart threw the one-hitter with no walks and seven strikeouts.

The score was tied at 2-2 after three innings but Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg tallied five in the fourth and went on for a 7-4 National Trail Conference win over Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City Tuesday.

CHBC outhit the Hatchets by a whopping 10-4 count but walks and two errors helped WSS pick up the win.

Gavan Wernsing hit a two-run homer while Riley Walden and Rincker had a single and an RBI each.

CHBC was led by Seth Doty with a single and double and Quad Schlanser, Silas Buzzard and Ian Hammond with two singles and an RBI each.
