Meanwhile, Kansas City jumped on him early scoring a run in the first, two in the second and five in the third before Chatwood exited the game.
The Cubs' only two runs came in the top of the ninth and six players had a single each. Victor Caratini had two singles and drove in a run. Nico Hoerner also drove in a run.

Chicago drops to 10-3 on the season and were headed to St. Louis for a three-game series today, Saturday and Sunday, but more Cardinals players have been diagnosed with COVID-19, so today's game has been postponed.
Brewers' Yelich Hits Inside-the-Park Home Run
Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Christian Yelich hit an inside-the-park home run -- the first of his career -- in the Brewers' 8-3 win over the Chicago White Sox Thursday night.
Yelich was able to score the run in the fifth inning after a misplay by Chicago left fielder Eloy Jimenez. The inside-the-park home run was the 30th in Brewers' franchise history.
