Thursday Was Opening Day For Major League Baseball

Today was supposed to be opening day for major league baseball. Instead, all around the league, baseball stadiums are empty.

The Chicago Cubs were set to travel to the MIlwaukee Braves for a 1:10 p.m. contest while the St. Louis Cardinals were to open at the Cincinnati Reds with a 3:10 p.m. game.

The Cubs were to play three games at Milwaukee with opening day today, then a day off Friday with Saturday and Sunday games.

The Cardinals were also to open today then skip Friday before playing Saturday and Sunday contests at Cincinnati.
