Giants Hire Kapler as Next Skipper

The San Francisco Giants have hired former Philadelphia Phillies manager Gabe Kapler as their next skipper. Kapler will take over for the retired Bruce Bochy, who led the Giants to three World Series titles and 1,052 victories in his 13 seasons with the team

Piazza To Manage Italian National Team

Baseball Hall of Fame catcher Mike Piazza has agreed to manage the Italian national baseball team. Piazza will manage Team Italy at the European Baseball Championship in 2020 and in the World Baseball Classic the following year.
