Zack Greinke recorded his 200th win in the Houston Astros’ 4-1 win over the Oakland A’s Sunday. Greinke joins CC Sabathia and Justin Verlander as the only active 200 game winners.

Mets' Alonso Hits 40th HR

The New York Mets' Pete Alonso hit his National League rookie record 40th home run in the team’s 11-5 victory over the Kansas City Royals Sunday. Alonso is one homer away from tying the team record shared by Todd Hundley and Carlos Beltran.

Nationals' Doolittle On IL

The Washington Nationals have put closer Sean Doolittle on the 10-day injured list with right knee tendinitis. The move came a day after he gave up three home runs in the ninth inning against Milwaukee.

Braves' Pulls Acuna Jr. From Game

Atlanta Braves manager Brian Snitker pulled Ronald Acuna Jr. from Sunday’s game after he stood at the plate admiring a long fly that bounced off the wall for a long single. However, it would’ve been an easy double had he run it out.

Patterson Makes Rookie Debut

Pitcher Nathan Patterson, who was signed by the Oakland A’s after he tossed a 96 mph fastball at a speed-pitch radar booth at a Colorado Rockies game, made his rookie league debut Sunday and struck out all three batters he faced.
