The St. Louis Cardinals say closer Jordan Hicks has a torn ulnar collateral ligament in his pitching elbow. The team says it’s "determining the next course of action," although it would seem that he’s likely done for the season.


Mets Fine Manager, Pitcher

The New York Mets say that they’ve fined manager Mickey Callaway and pitcher Jason Vargas over the clubhouse incident with a reporter following Sunday's loss. Callaway called the incident a "misunderstanding," while Vargas said it was "an unfortunate incident."
