Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Edwin Jackson set a major league record Wednesday against the Giants in San Francisco. Toronto became the 14th different team Jackson has played for in his career after making his debut with the Dodgers in 2003.


Yankees' Andujar To Undergo Surgery

New York Yankees third baseman Miguel Andújar has decided to undergo season-ending surgery to repair a small labrum tear in his right shoulder. Andujar will undergo surgery on Monday.


Twins Place Garver on 10-Day IL

The Minnesota Twins have placed catcher Mitch Garver on the 10-day injured list with a sprained left ankle. Meanwhile, third baseman Miguel Sanó returned to the team, nearly four months after he sustained a severe cut on his right heel.
