MLB Suspends Giants President, CEO Bauer

Major League Baseball has suspended San Francisco Giants president and CEO Larry Baer without pay until July 2 for a domestic incident involving his wife. Baer has been away from the team on a leave of absence since March 4 following an incident when he was seen in an altercation with his wife.


Jacob deGrom, Mets Agree To Contract

Cy Young Award winner Jacob deGrom and the New York Mets have agreed to a five-year, $137.5 million contract. They had agreed to a one-year, $17 million deal in January, which would’ve allowed him to file for free agency after 2020.
