SIUE Takes Baseball Victory Over UIC

EDWARDSVILLE -- Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville downed University of Illinois-Chicago in a baseball doubleheader Friday.

SIUE won the opener 3-2 then came back to take the twinbill with a 6-4 count.

In the second game, Effingham graduate Braydon Bone came on to relieve starter Cameron Prayer in the second inning. Bone allowed two hits, one walk and struck out five in his three innings of work. Adam Drewry came on in the fifth and picked up the win.
