Angels Place Ohtani On DL

The Los Angeles Angels placed Shohei Ohtani on the disabled list this weekend, but are denying reports that he needs Tommy John Surgery.

The team says Ohtani will miss at least three weeks due to a sprained UCL, which is the elbow ligament often associated with the surgery.
