Mid-Illinois Concrete handed the Teutopolis Warriors a 9-5 loss in Prep Baseball League action at Evergreen Hollow Park Thursday.

Mid-Illinois took a 2-1 first inning lead but trailed 5-4 going into the bottom of the sixth. Mid-Illinois then rallied with a five-run sixth.

Flowers had a single, triple and an RBI for the winners while Bierman had two singles and an RBI.

Hille had a double for the Warriors and Hanson had two singles and two RBI.

In the second contest,  Effingham Veterinary Clinic pounded the Teutopolis Jaguars, 20-7.

Effingham Vet led 5-4 after the first inning then had a five-run second, a four-run third and a six-run fourth.

Jansen had a triple for the winners while Waymoth had three singles and three RBI and Cornett and Heil two singles each. Cornett had two RBI and Heil an RBI.

Conner Siemer had a single, double and two RBI for the Jaguars while Stewart had two singles.
