Yadier Molina came through with his sixth walk-off hit when he nailed a ball to left center, scoring Marcell Ozuna.  Matt Carpenter his a solo homer to tie the game before Molina came through this is game-winning single.

That victory gave the Cardinals their first win after three losses. And, Cardinals manager Mike Matheny celebrated a milestone with his 1,000th regular-season game.

The Colorado Rockies had some power Tuesday in downing the Chicago Cubs, 3-1.

Charlie Blackmon, David Dahl and Nolan Arenado hit solo home runs against the Cubs with a good wind blowing out. Blackmon led off with his 10th homer. Dahl then followed with his first as Kyle Hendricks gave up the back-to-back blasts.

Anthony Rizzo opened with a home run of his own for the Cubs. It was his second homer of the season.

But the Cubs had only three hits against the Rockies. One of those a triple by Kyle Schwarber, his third career triple.
