LOUISVILLE -- Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg High School claimed a 10-3 win over North Clay (Louisville) in baseball action Wednesday.

North Clay held the early lead, going out to 2-0 in the first inning. The Hatchets then tallied four runs in the third, three in the fourth and three in the fifth for the winning margin.

Logan Greuel picked up the pitching win, going 5.67 innings, allowing four hits, five walks and striking out six.

WSS had 15 hits led by Isaac Kramer with three singles, a double and four RBI, Greuel with three singles and three RBI, Beau Bennett with three singles and Dalton Armes with two singles and an RBI.

North Clay had four hits with Ethan Burkett getting three of those, two singles and a double.

At Louisville

At Mulberry Grove

Brownstown/St. Elmo took off to an 8-0 first inning lead and ended up beating Mulberry Grove 11-1 in five innings.

BSE had 10 hits led by Isaac Maxey with three singles and an RBI and Dalton Denton with two singles and an RBI.

Denton was the winning pitcher, throwing a four-hitter with two walks and four strikeouts.

BSE improves to 2-0 in the Egyptian Illini Conference and 3-3 overall.
