Elks broke loose in the third inning to down Taylor Law Offices 8-3 in the opening game of the Tomorrow's Stars Khoury League Tuesday at Community Park.

Taylor Law held a 2-1 lead in the second and pushed that to 3-1 in the top of the third. But Elks came back with a five-run bottom of the frame and then tallied two more in the fourth for the 8-3 win.

Alex Gordon hit two home runs for the winners, shots in the third and in the fourth. Brenan Goering had a triple and two home runs. Goering's homers came in the first inning and the third inning. Luke Johnson added a single and double.

Landon Wallace had a triple and an RBI for Taylor Law.

In the second contest, Brown's Drug Store led all the way and finished with a 9-3 win over Rotary.

The two teams were tied at 1-1 in the first but Brown's tallied two in the third and seven in the sixth. Dakota Flaig hit a grand slam in the sixth inning and finished with a single, double and six RBI. Isaac Lankow contributed a triple and two RBI.

Adam Flack led Rotary with two doubles and an RBI while Joey Trupiano had a double and an RBI.
