Five Hearts Named To All-Apollo Baseball Teams

Five Effingham High School players were named to All-Apollo Conference baseball teams.

Named to the First Team Pitchers was Zack Lee, a sophomore. Other team members were Mount Zion's Trevor Durand and Salem's Brendan Boles.

Named to the First Team for the Hearts were Ryan Sandifer, a junior, and Brent Beals, a senior. Named to the Second Team were Lane Koenig, a senior, and Mason Hull, a junior.

Other First Team members were Marik Eddington (Mount Zion), Andrew Auton (Mount Zion), Tucker Rappe (Mattoon), Zach Consolino (Salem), Kevin Beard (Charleston), Mason McGahey (Charleston) and Sam Gubbins (Charleston).

Other Second Team members were Garrette Branson (Mattoon), Kyler Fox (Mount Zion), Dawson Armstrong (Charleston), Levi Davis (Salem), Nic Lavin (Taylorville) and A.J. Davis (Mount Zion).
