Babe Ruth Prep League -- May 30

Mid-Illinois Concrete stepped out to a 4-0 first inning lead and led 7-1 after two over Dieterich in Babe Ruth Prep League action Tuesday at Evergreen Hollow Park.

Dieterich came back with nine runs in the top of the third to lead 10-7 and then tallied two more in the top of the fourth to lead 12-7. But Mid-Illinois rallied with eight runs in the bottom of the fourth to pull out a 15-12 win.

Brayden Pals threw a two-hitter for the pitching win. Tyler Budde had a double, two triples and drove in four runs while Dalton Fox had a single, double and an RBI and Gabe Eaton a single and three RBI. Ethan Kirby added two singles and an RBI and Pals a double.

Austin Ruholl had both hits, singles, and an RBI for Dieterich.
